MotoGP - WSBK - '2006 champions
05/24/2007 (update : 05/29/2008)

As the French GP has took place last week, this come-back on the '2006 Champions is the occasion to put on line the first watercolours carried out in 2007 and signed by the riders last week at Le Mans. If Alvaro Bautista can't defend his title because he moved the the 250 cc class, the situations of Jorge Lorenzo and Nicky Hayden are opposite. Whereas the first leads the championship this season again, the second has difficulties to adapt his riding style to his new machine (the displacement changed from 1000 cc to 800 cc) and hadly enters the top 10. In World Superbikes, Troy Bayliss impressed the championship for his return in the category after three seasons in MotoGP. Very dominating, he left his contenders, James Toseland and Noriyuki Haga, 100 points behind.
