MotoGP - WSBK - '2008 champions
05/28/2009

Scusate il ritardo (sorry for the delay). After two seasons without, Valentino Rossi reconquered the MotoGP world title. By claiming 16 top-3 finishes out of 18 rounds, he dominated the championship and let his runner-up Casey Stoner 100 points behind. His great friend, Marco Simoncelli, imitated him and clinched his first world title. Very promising in his first 125 WGP campaigns, the Italian rider was forced to wait for two seasons before finding the winning recipy in the upper class. In 125 cc, Mike di Meglio looks like a miracle man. One win at the Turkish GP in 2005 and... nothing more. About to put an end to his career at the end of 2007, the Frenchman managed his season like a boss, with a success in France as a bonus. 2008 will also remain marked by the last crown of Troy Bayliss. To retire with the #1 plate is the privilege of the greatest riders.
